Getting a mix ready for mastering isn’t terribly difficult, but it’s easy to make mistakes that can impact on what can be achieved at the mastering stage. The use of effects such as heavy compression, equalization (EQ) or peak limiting on the “master output bus insert” is the first common mistake to make, leave that to us!

What is included in the mix and master?
We take a creative approach to mixing which can be best summed up as “We mix and master your song as if it were our song”.
Meaning, we’ll take the time to mix it as if it were our own song and if we notice any issues or ways we can improve it we’ll let you know.
But basically, professional mixing and mastering includes things like correctly applying Autotune, compression, eq, reverb, delay and panning to your vocal and instrument tracks.
Mastering includes applying high quality limiters, dynamic and analog compression as well harmonic exciters to the final mix.
What's the difference between the packages?
Our pricing is based on the number of tracks in the song, the more tracks in the song the more time it takes to mix all those tracks.
All our mixing and mastering services include the same benefits.
The only difference is with the $149+ plan which takes 3-5 days to complete as it has more tracks.
How many changes can I make to my mix?
You have 30 days to request as many changes as you like to your mix.
Many other companies will charge you to make even the smallest changes plus they’ll take weeks to do it.
We usually will have your changes made and sent to you within 2 days after receiving them.
What is a track limit?
Each song consists of many tracks: you have the kicks, snares, hi-hats, bass, vocals, synth, piano, etc. Each one of those is called a track.
When we say “16 track mix” we’re referring to mixing 16 separate tracks within the song. In order to make your songs sound their best, we need all those tracks such as the kicks, snares, hi-hats, bass, vocals, and ukulele (can’t forget the ukulele) to be their own separate WAV form so we can better mix the entire song.
If you need help exporting your tracks, let us know, and we’d be happy to show you.
How long does it take to get my song back?
It’ll take between 3 to 5 days to get your song back. Keep in mind this excludes weekends and holidays.

Before uploading your masterpiece please read the following:
- Make sure your songs have not had any limiter or maximizer or compression plugins added to the final stereo out here’s a diagram. If you don’t know what this means just make sure your song isn’t too loud.
- Make sure your songs are in .wav format or .aiff format. Do not send MP3s as they are not suitable for high quality mastering.
- And finally…make sure you’re serious about having a professionally mastered song. If your mix has too many issues, mastering isn’t going to help much (Consider our popular mixing and mastering service).
